Mumbai, Aug 20 (NationPress) Iconic megastar Amitabh Bachchan believes that maintaining dedication to a singular path is the key to achieving your ultimate goal, advising against the numerous routes that others may propose.
In a recent blog post, Big B expressed, “Never take never granted for granted (sic).”
The cinematic legend recited his renowned poet father Harivansh Rai Bachchan's poem "Madhushala", which conveys that throughout life's journey, many individuals will present various and often conflicting paths.
From this, Big B emphasized the importance of unwavering focus, resilience, and avoiding distractions from the plethora of options available.
He remarked: “Pandering to authority is acceptable in the right context; however, many find themselves indecisive, caught 'sitting on the fence'... for the right choice...”
“Alag alag path batate sab, par main yeh batlaya hun; raah pakad tu ek chala chal pa jaaayega Madhushala... there is but one path to your final destination... keep moving in that direction, and you shall reach it. (sic.)”
The acclaimed actor is currently hosting the latest season of the quiz show “Kaun Banega Crorepati.” On August 15, he expressed the emotional challenge of witnessing contestants who face disappointment on the show.
“We sit on the hot seat and meet contestants who harbor ambitious dreams of victory during their week with us... when they don’t succeed, it’s immensely difficult to manage their frustration and sense of lost opportunity. Yes, it is. (sic.)” he shared on his blog.
“For me, it’s also emotionally devastating to see their tears as they realize their time has ended, the Hooter has sounded, and the chance to play, for personal reasons, is gone. (sic.)”
He believes that while he attempts to console them, the loss of such a transformative opportunity is heart-wrenching.
“No amount of consolation can provide the comfort they seek... For some, the opportunity is vital; many have compromised their studies or job prospects to be there, only to leave empty-handed... it’s hard to witness such moments... (sic.)”
“But what can we do... a smile of 'try again'... a word of encouragement that everything will be okay... loss isn’t the end; it’s a lesson that aligns with: Mann ka ho to acha; na ho toh zyada acha. (sic.)”
“Yet, not everyone believes in this, which is disheartening... but as they say, the show must go on... we often leave contemplating not the winner and their knowledge but the one who tried and didn’t succeed... life is indeed a challenging endeavor... (sic.)”
