Mumbai, May 3 (NationPress) Amruta Fadnavis, spouse of Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, attended the WAVES Summit 2025 held in Mumbai.

In an interview with IANS, Amruta emphasized that the language of music is the most beautiful in the world, asserting that WAVES is creating a significant impact on music.

Regarding WAVES 2025, she remarked to IANS, "The enthusiasm for the WAVES Summit is not limited to Mumbai or Maharashtra; it's resonating globally, with many eager to participate."

She indicated that this event will enhance diplomatic and cultural relations in the near future.

When questioned about Prime Minister Modi's initiative to support creators and the government’s promise to establish institutes comparable to IITs and IIMs for creators, she affirmed, "Indeed, creators require substantial support from both the government and the public to effectively disseminate Indian culture worldwide. Our policies and facilities must reflect this support."

Amruta also highlighted that Maharashtra has attracted a remarkable investment of Rs 8000 crore due to the WAVES Summit.

She stated, "The greatest master class has come from Korean Hip-hop. Today, there is extensive interest in learning about their language and economy, with over 200,000 individuals registering to learn Korean, which also boosts tourism."

"If we showcase our folk and classical music, it will significantly enhance Indian tourism," she concluded.

Held by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the WAVES Summit 2025 began on May 1 and is set to conclude on May 4.
