Mumbai, July 29 (NationPress) Actress Ananya Panday experienced a “Wah Taj” moment while admiring the awe-inspiring allure of the Taj Mahal in Agra.
Ananya shared a series of stunning pictures from her visit on Instagram. Clad in a vibrant mustard yellow and deep blue patterned dress, she posed gracefully in front of the iconic ivory-white marble mausoleum, which was honored as one of the New 7 Wonders of the World in 2007.
In her caption, the actress expressed her admiration with the words: “Wah Taj!”
She included the enchanting song “Jashn-E-Bahaaraa” by A. R. Rahman and Javed Ali from the 2008 film “Jodhaa Akbar”, featuring Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
Ananya also reposted her pictures in her stories, stating: “Pictures don't do this beauty justice. You have to see it to believe it.”
The Taj Mahal was commissioned in 1631 by the fifth Mughal emperor, Shah Jahan, to serve as the final resting place for his beloved wife, Mumtaz Mahal; it also contains the tomb of Shah Jahan himself.
This magnificent tomb is the centerpiece of a sprawling 17-hectare complex, which features a mosque and a guest house, all surrounded by meticulously landscaped gardens and encircled on three sides by a crenellated wall.
Ananya also gave her followers a sneak peek of veteran actor Jackie Shroff, adding the caption: “Guess who I’m shooting with.”
Though Jackie’s face remains hidden, his distinctive plant neckpiece with “Bhidu” written on it reveals that the actress is collaborating with the legendary star.
Upcoming, Ananya will appear in “Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri” alongside Kartik Aaryan, Neena Gupta, and Jackie Shroff.
This project marks the second collaboration between Kartik and Ananya following their 2019 film “Pati Patni Aur Woh.”
Produced by Karan Johar in collaboration with Adar Poonawalla, Apoorva Mehta, Shareen Mantri Kedia, and Kishor Arora, “Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri” is set to hit theaters on February 13 next year.
