In a heartfelt post on Instagram, Kapoor reminisced about how his seemingly minor role in the movie, which many may not have paid attention to, became the pivotal moment that laid the groundwork for his thriving career. Anil posted a collage of images from the film and expressed, “45 years of Ek Baar Kaho—a small role that turned into a pivotal moment in my career. Sometimes, even small roles can change a career. If you perform well, someone will surely take notice. Shabana ji and Javed Saab recognized my potential in just the briefest scene with Jagdeep ji. That was exactly the encouragement I needed to open numerous doors.”

The 'Mr. India' star continued, “Ek Baar Kaho was among my earliest films—almost like a passport into Hindi Cinema. When it received the endorsement of Rajshri Productions, it felt like a major achievement.
