Anil Kapoor Completes Filming for ‘Subedaar’, Posts Behind-the-Scenes Photos

Mumbai, Dec 2 (NationPress) Actor Anil Kapoor, who was recently featured in the theatrical release Savi, has successfully concluded the filming schedule for his much-anticipated streaming film Subedaar, in which he takes on the titular role.
On Monday, the actor shared a collection of behind-the-scenes photos from the set on his social media. He expressed his gratitude in the caption, stating, “From dreams to reality, from vision to creation, ‘Subedaar’ takes shape with dedication and heart! Schedule wrapped, but the magic is just beginning. Grateful for the team, the passion, and the journey.”
The plot of Subedaar centers around Arjun Maurya (portrayed by Anil Kapoor), a former soldier as he navigates life as a civilian. He faces various personal and societal hurdles while striving to repair his strained relationship with his daughter, Shyama (played by Radhikka Madan), all while battling his internal conflicts.
This film is directed by Suresh Triveni and produced by Vikram Malhotra, Anil Kapoor, and Triveni. It is set to debut on Prime Video.
This year has been significant for Kapoor. Following the success of Fighter, he was included in the TIME100 AI list for his advocacy against the misuse of AI. His acclaimed series, The Night Manager, received a nomination for Best Drama Series at the 2024 International Emmy Awards, and he also secured an IIFA Award for his performance in Animal.
Additionally, the actor hosted the third season of the streaming reality show Bigg Boss OTT this year.
Looking ahead, he has a range of upcoming projects, including War 2, where he will share the screen with Bollywood superstar Hrithik Roshan and Telugu superstar NTR Jr. of RRR fame.
Furthermore, he stars in Alpha, which is also part of the YRF spy-universe, similar to War 2. In Alpha, he will appear alongside Bollywood sensation Alia Bhatt and actress Sharvari from Munjya. Notably, Alpha will be the first female-led action film in the spy-universe.
