Anupam Kher Pays Tribute at Asha Bhosle's Home: A Melodious Silence
Synopsis
Key Takeaways
Mumbai, April 18 (NationPress) Renowned actor Anupam Kher paid a visit to the residence of the late singer Asha Bhosle on Saturday, honoring her remarkable legacy.
Reflecting on his experience, Kher mentioned that despite the profound silence enveloping the home, he could almost hear Asha Ji's melodies echoing in his mind.
Alongside a photograph featuring Anand Bhosle, Asha Bhosle's son, and her granddaughter, Zanai Bhosle, Kher shared on a photo-sharing platform, "SOUND OF SILENCE!! Today, I visited Asha Ji’s home to pay my respects to the legendary singer! The house was steeped in silence… a silence that communicates. Yet, within that quietude, her voice seemed to resonate, lingering in every nook and cranny, every cherished memory. I met her son Anand, daughter-in-law Anuja, and her granddaughter and close companion, #ZanaiBhosle. They were warm and gracious, embodying her legacy with quiet strength."
Kher expressed that visits of this nature evoke not only sorrow but can also facilitate healing.
"Such visits are not solely about mourning… they can be healing, even if just momentarily. I departed in silence… but with her songs gently playing in my heart! Long Live Asha Ji! Jai Ho!" he concluded.
For those unaware, Asha Bhosle sadly passed away on April 12 following multi-organ failure.
She was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai on April 11 due to severe exhaustion and a chest infection, as shared by Zanai through a social media update.
Earlier today, Zanai disclosed that she has been sensing a strong presence of her grandmother recently.
“After considerable reflection, I understand that I could never truly lose you, as you live within me, in my heart, body, and soul. Your teachings will guide me throughout my life, and your strong presence has been felt deeply in recent days. I love you,” Zanai expressed.
