Asha Bhosle, one of the most remarkable singers of her era, passed away on Sunday. She was hospitalized at Breach Candy Hospital the previous day. Ashish Shelar, the Culture Minister of Maharashtra, confirmed the news outside the hospital. Her last rites are scheduled for Monday at 4:00 PM at Shivaji Park.
Throughout her illustrious career, Asha Bhosle received numerous accolades for her remarkable songs, including the esteemed Dadasaheb Phalke Award in 2000 and the Padma Vibhushan in 2008.
