For those unfamiliar, Aaliyah recently married her longtime partner Shane Gregoire on December 11, 2024, in Mumbai. She shared breathtaking visuals from the wedding on her Instagram, captioned, “Now and forever.”
Meanwhile, Anurag Kashyap has voiced strong criticism against OTT platforms, expressing concerns over their lack of cinematic understanding. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter India, he stated, “They have no cinema experience. They don’t understand cinema.”
He further explained that many individuals involved with these streaming services come from television backgrounds, stating, “But who are the people running the OTTs? They're all from TV. They have no cinema experience.” He emphasized their primary goal is to gain subscribers, often at the expense of quality content.
The filmmaker added, “The top streamers are multinationals. They're not Indian-origin companies. They're answerable, so they're scared to take risks. In every way, it's a leash for creativity.”
Additionally, Anurag Kashyap expressed his intention to explore opportunities in the South Indian film industry next year, seeking fresh creative inspiration as he feels disillusioned with the current landscape.
On a professional note, Anurag Kashyap has recently showcased his acting skills in the Tamil film 'Maharaja' and the web series 'Bad Cop.'
