Shane Gregoire, Anurag Kashyap’s Son-in-Law, Gets Emotional During Wedding to Aaliyah Kashyap

Mumbai, Dec 11 (NationPress) Shane Gregoire, the spouse of Anurag Kashyap’s daughter, Aaliyah Kashyap, was observed tearing up during their wedding ceremony on Wednesday.

Even Anurag Kashyap had moist eyes when he approached the media outside the venue. He shared with them that he shed tears in joy during this special event just before meeting them.

According to media sources, Shane and Aaliyah, who have been in a relationship for over four years, exchanged vows on Wednesday. The couple got engaged in May last year and hosted an engagement celebration for family and friends in August 2023.

Actress Kalki Koechlin, who was Anurag’s second wife and has collaborated with him on projects like ‘Dev.D’ and ‘That Girl In Yellow Boots’, also attended the wedding festivities. Anurag and Kalki were married in 2011 but separated in 2015.

Kalki has mentioned that she and Anurag have maintained a good friendship since their divorce, noting that the initial years were challenging but necessary for both to understand each other's lives better.

This was Anurag’s second marriage; he was previously married to film editor Aarti Bajaj, with whom he shares a daughter, Aaliyah Kashyap.

Earlier, actress Khushi Kapoor, who made her debut in Bollywood with the streaming film ‘The Archies’, was present at Aaliyah’s haldi ceremony.

On Sunday, the actress shared a collection of photos and videos from the haldi ceremony on her Instagram. In one of the videos, Khushi was seen applying haldi on Aaliyah. Another clip shows Aaliyah sharing a kiss with her fiancé.

Khushi captioned the post, “Haldi morning.”

The actress was dressed in a yellow ethnic outfit, in line with the wedding celebration theme.
