Kalki Koechlin and Anurag Kashyap Cross Paths at Pre-Wedding Celebrations for His Daughter

Mumbai, Dec 10 (NationPress) Actress Kalki Koechlin, who was previously married to Indian filmmaker Anurag Kashyap, reconnected with him at the pre-wedding celebrations for his daughter, Aaliyah Kashyap.
Aaliyah is set to marry her long-time partner Shane Gregoire in Mumbai on Tuesday. Kalki coordinated her look with Anurag in a dark green Indian ethnic ensemble, in line with the event's green color theme.
Anurag was spotted sharing a light-hearted moment with the photographers outside the venue. When the media requested a pose, he humorously responded, “Abe yaar, Hosh nahi hai mereko chaar din se (I haven't been in my senses for the last four days).”
According to reports, Shane and Aaliyah will exchange vows on December 11 at the Bombay Club, located at Mahalakshmi Race Course in Mumbai. The couple has been together for more than four years and got engaged in May of last year, celebrating with a party for their friends and family in August 2023.
Kalki, who collaborated with Anurag on films like ‘Dev.D’ and ‘That Girl In Yellow Boots’, was married to him in 2011, but they divorced in 2015. She mentioned that they have maintained a strong friendship since their separation, though the first few years post-divorce were challenging. She expressed that the time apart helped them understand each other better.
This was Anurag’s second marriage; he was previously wed to film editor Aarti Bajaj, with whom he has a daughter, Aaliyah Kashyap.
Kalki, on the other hand, welcomed a daughter named Sappho. Her film received a standing ovation at the Cannes Film Festival in 2023, although it has yet to see a theatrical release in India.
