Hyderabad, Oct 24 (NationPress) Prominent Telugu actor Vishnu Manchu and his father Mohan Babu have voiced their profound shock and sorrow regarding the devastating bus accident in Hyderabad that resulted in the loss of 11 lives on Friday.

In a post on his social media platform X, Vishnu Manchu, noted for his leading role in the pan-Indian film 'Kannappa', shared, "I am deeply unsettled by the tragic bus accident on the Hyderabad–Bengaluru highway. The loss of so many innocent lives in such a tragic event is heartbreaking. My sincere condolences go out to the victims' families. I am praying for the recovery of the injured and strength for those mourning."

His father, acclaimed actor and producer Mohan Babu, also expressed his dismay over this unfortunate event.

Mohan Babu, who plays the villain in actor Nani's upcoming film 'Paradise', took to social media to extend his sympathies to the bereaved families.

He stated, "It's absolutely gut-wrenching to learn about the bus tragedy on the Hyderabad–Bengaluru highway. Lives lost in mere moments... Words are insufficient at such times. My heartfelt condolences to the families who are grieving. I hope for the swift recovery of the injured and pray that God grants strength to all affected."

For those unaware, at least 11 individuals perished when a Volvo bus caught fire after colliding with a two-wheeler in Andhra Pradesh's Kurnool district early Friday morning. The bus, which was en route from Hyderabad to Bengaluru, carried around 40 passengers. The accident transpired near Ullindakonda in the district.

Numerous leaders, including Prime Minister Modi, have expressed their sorrow and offered condolences to the families of the victims.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced a compensation of Rs two lakh for each family affected by the tragic bus fire incident.

Earlier, President Droupadi Murmu and Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan conveyed their deep sorrow over the tragic bus accident. Both leaders described the event as "deeply unfortunate" and extended their condolences to the grieving families.

President Murmu shared on the social media platform X, "The loss of lives in the tragic bus fire accident in Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh, is deeply unfortunate. I extend my heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and pray for the rapid recovery of those injured."
