“Do not jeopardize the lives of passengers,” he cautioned.
The fire incident claimed the lives of nineteen passengers when the bus ignited after colliding with a two-wheeler near Chinnatekur on the outskirts of Kurnool.
The bus, operated by V Kaveri Travels, had 43 individuals, including two drivers, onboard.
According to the minister, the bus involved was registered in Odisha and was traveling between Hyderabad and Bengaluru.

Calling the recent incident unfortunate, he confirmed that an investigation has been initiated.
He assured that necessary actions would be taken to avert future accidents.
Highlighting the significant traffic between Hyderabad and Bengaluru via Andhra Pradesh, he announced a forthcoming meeting with transport ministers and commissioners from all three states to address safety measures. “Speed regulations are crucial for preventing accidents, and we will enforce these rules rigorously,” he affirmed.
Minister Prabhakar referenced the speed limit regulations on Tirupati ghat roads, where authorities monitor vehicle speeds by recording entry and exit times. He stressed the importance of implementing a similar monitoring system for buses travelling between Hyderabad and Bengaluru, Tirupati, Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam, and Rajahmundry.
