Did ‘Fashion’ Actor Arjan Bajwa Ever Consider a Career in Aviation?

Mumbai, May 27 (NationPress) Actor Arjan Bajwa revealed a surprising career choice he contemplated before stepping into the acting realm.

Although he is now a well-recognized figure on screen, Arjan Bajwa's initial ambitions were anchored in an entirely different domain. In an honest discussion, the ‘Fashion’ actor disclosed that he has always harbored a passion for aviation. Long before embracing the spotlight, he felt a compelling connection to the skies. Had acting not come into his life, he believes he would have pursued a career as a pilot.

Arjan Bajwa shared with IANS, “I never aimed to become an actor. It was never in my plans because I was studying architecture and was on the verge of training to become a pilot, which has always been my utmost priority. Becoming an aviator has perpetually been my dream. During my university years, I ventured into modeling as a pastime. While doing so, I received a breakthrough in Telugu cinema. And the rest is history. So, it wasn’t a deliberate decision, but I believe destiny has its own design for you, and I’m a staunch believer in that.”

The actor further stated, “Even now, I fly as a hobby, and I cherish learning, reading, and watching everything about aviation. It continues to be a significant part of my life, even as an alternative career option. After completing 26 films and venturing into international territories, my ambition has always been to engage in quality work and collaborate with the finest talent in the industry. Because of this, I’ve had the privilege to work with some of the stalwarts of this industry, from actresses like Priyanka Chopra and Vidya Balan to renowned directors such as Mani Ratnam, Madhur Bhandarkar, and Mohit Suri.”

With a career exceeding two decades, Arjan Bajwa is poised for his international debut in the Taiwanese film ‘Demon Hunters.’ Regarding his international debut, the ‘Son of Sardar’ actor mentioned, “As I embark on my journey into international cinema, my ambition has intensified to carve a niche in that arena and elevate the name of my country on the global stage.”

“I’m actively exploring various avenues beyond acting, which is a common path many in this industry eventually take. You don’t have to confine yourself to just being an actor. Likewise, I’m also on the path to becoming an entrepreneur, and I’ve already started working on that.”

Arjan also shared his eagerness to tackle more challenging and emotionally charged roles. On his wish list is a gripping action drama, alongside a profound, emotionally rich love story that delves into the depths of raw romance.

“Simultaneously, I would love to act in a historical film where I portray a warrior; that’s genuinely one of the roles I’m most enthusiastic about. I’ve previously participated in a series called State of Siege: 26/11, based on the NSG operation, where I played a commando. Hence, I’m also looking forward to more patriotic and nationalistic roles as a defense personnel,” Arjan Bajwa concluded.
