Actor Arnav Bhasin has revealed that he was left thoroughly 'mesmerised' watching his co-star Siddharth nail the technical nuances of an Air Force flight check on the sets of the upcoming Netflix series 'Operation Safed Sagar'. The admission came during the promotions of the show in the BKC area of Mumbai on 29 July, where Bhasin was joined by co-actors Siddharth, Jimmy Shergill, and Mihir Ahuja.

What Arnav Bhasin Witnessed on Set

Bhasin described the moment as one of quiet, unplanned admiration. 'I was just absorbing the early days on the set, and I was already mesmerized by his work,' he said. The cast had been coached by a trainer teaching Air Force pilots the precise routine of a pre-flight check — a sequence of deliberate taps and inspections carried out before entering an aircraft.

According to Bhasin, Siddharth executed the entire routine flawlessly and in remarkably little time. 'I tell you, Siddharth did it perfectly, and within a few seconds, he was done with the flight check... and in a very less amount of time in which he got to know that okay, this happens and to the execution,' Bhasin recalled.

The Depth of Siddharth's Preparation

Bhasin went on to note that Siddharth's command over the material was so convincing that it would be impossible for a viewer to tell he had not trained for years. 'You'll not be able to tell that he's not trained for it for years to be able to get into a flight,' he said, adding that he remained curious about the full extent of how Siddharth had prepared for the role, respecting the actor's privacy around his process.

The operation was aimed at flushing out regular and irregular troops of the Pakistani Army from vacated Indian positions in the Kargil sector along the Line of Control. It holds the distinction of being the first large-scale deployment of airpower in the Jammu and Kashmir region since the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971.
