Did Ashneer Grover Just Reveal His Earnings as an Influencer?

Mumbai, Sep 10 (NationPress) Ashneer Grover has recently shared insights into his earnings outside the realm of entrepreneurship, making an unexpected announcement regarding his income as an influencer.

In an exclusive conversation with IANS, the former judge of Shark Tank India emphasized that, contrary to widespread assumptions, television does not serve as his main source of income. When probed about the changes in his life post-Shark Tank and the notion that he earns more as an influencer and TV personality than from his previous business endeavors, Ashneer clarified that this notion is incorrect. He underscored that television is not his principal revenue stream.

“If I am earning more from television, then people are mistaken. The income from business is significantly higher. I was fortunate to be involved with two unicorns, one of which I co-founded, which is Bharat Pe. The financial rewards from that venture are vastly superior to what comes from television. However, I approach my television roles with the same enthusiasm I would apply to any business venture. But in terms of finances, there's no comparison. Business offers far greater rewards,” he stated.

When asked about his definition of success—whether it be money, fame, or a blend of both—Ashneer Grover asserted that he is driven by numbers, and for him, success has always been linked to financial wealth. He articulated, “For me, I am a numbers-driven individual. So, it’s perpetually about money. The individual with greater wealth is deemed more successful. Others might concoct notions to satisfy their inner selves, but only money can be quantified. Everything else remains intangible. Hence, anyone possessing more money is more successful. It’s as straightforward as that.”

The influencer elaborated, “I have been fortunate enough to be part of two unicorns. There are only 110 unicorns in India. What are the odds of one person being involved in two? It’s an extremely rare occurrence. That has already unfolded in my life. Two substantial companies have emerged. If you have expectations from me, then you might anticipate a third or fourth. What will the others achieve?”
