Mumbai, Feb 25 (NationPress) Esteemed actor Ashutosh Rana has shared insights regarding the pivotal influence women have had on his flourishing career in the film industry.

Reflecting on his professional journey, he expressed how collaborations with female directors consistently result in remarkable performances and movies. Commenting on his latest release, “Kaushaljis vs Kaushal,” which has garnered an exceptional response, Rana stated, “Our team was outstanding. Throughout my career, I have observed that films directed by women truly stand out. Whether it was Dushman (Tanuja Chandra) or Sangharsh (Tanuja Chandra), and now Kaushalijis vs Kaushal with Seemaa Desai, I firmly believe that women—my mother, my wife, and my female directors—have significantly influenced my career trajectory.”

Rana’s recent project, “Kaushaljis vs Kaushal,” narrates the story of a 27-year-old named Yug Kaushal, who moves to Delhi, leaving his small-town roots in Kannauj. The film showcases a talented ensemble cast, including Sheeba Chada, Pavail Gulati, Isha Talwar, Deeksha Joshi, Grusha Kapoor, Brijendra Kala, and Ashish Chowdhry in prominent roles.

Directed by Seemaa Desai and produced by Jyoti Deshpande, Umesh Shukla, Ashish Wagh, and Parag Desai, this film is supported by Jio Studios, Merry Go Round Studios, and Mumbai Talkeez. It is currently available for streaming on JioHotstar.

In discussing the film, director Seemaa Desai previously remarked, “Kaushaljis vs. Kaushal is a heartfelt exploration of the generational divide between Gen X and Millennials. At its essence, this film tells a story about love, which is both complicated and beautiful. It encompasses family, with all its flaws and second chances. While we often witness love stories centered around young couples, what about those who have shared decades together? This film provides a lighthearted yet poignant perspective on marriage and poses the question: What if love endures, even after years of challenges? I believe that viewers will resonate with the relatable characters, experience laughter and tears, and see reflections of their own families throughout the film. This is a heartfelt film crafted for the heart.”
