Ayesha Khan Describes Her Role in ‘Dil Ko Rafu Karr Lei’ as Vibrant and Lively

Mumbai, Jan 7 (NationPress) Ayesha Khan, who previously participated in ‘Bigg Boss 17’, is set to appear in the series “Dil Ko Rafu Karr Lei”. She expressed that her character is “full of life” and describes her as a “patakha”.

In the show, Ayesha portrays Nikki, a character in the series created by Ravie Dubey and Sargun Mehta, which is produced under their own banner, Dreamiyata Dramaa.

Reflecting on her character, she mentioned, “During the script reading, our writer Meenakshi presented the script, and after that, I suggested naming the girl Khwahish due to her numerous dreams and ambitions.”

“However, Meenakshi corrected me, saying, 'No, this is Nikki – the one who is always outspoken, acts swiftly, and accomplishes tasks in a jiffy.' That moment resonated with me, making me realize that Nikki is indeed vibrant and full of life. She’s a patakha, a dynamic, cheerful, and spirited individual,” she added.

Ayesha also shared that Nikki closely resembles her off-screen persona.

“Yes, I do see a part of myself in her. I tend to be straightforward—always cheerful, lively, and bubbly. However, Nikki’s energy is on an entirely different level, and I don’t believe I can match that,” she said.

In the series, Ayesha is paired with Karan V Grover and mentioned that she is thoroughly enjoying her time filming alongside her co-stars both on and off the set.

“I feel fortunate to be collaborating with such talented actors. Karan, Chirag, Meenakshi, Swati ji, Kamal, and Nirmal ma’am—it’s always a delight to watch her perform. I eagerly anticipate her scenes. She traveled all the way from Ludhiana to shoot and then returned home. She truly embodies hard work,” she remarked.

“As for Karan, he is not only a remarkable actor but also an incredible person. I initially thought he would be very serious, but he’s actually such a fun-loving individual. We have developed a wonderful bond, and I will genuinely miss everyone,” she added.

When speaking about Ravie and Sargun, Ayesha noted: “What can I say about Sargun ma’am? She has always inspired me. She is a producer, entrepreneur, and actor—she excels in everything. I look up to her immensely and respect her deeply for her hard work.”

“Whenever she is on set, I am filled with joy. I become that person with sparkling eyes, watching her. I truly admire her,” she expressed.

Ayesha also shared her admiration for Ravie.

“Over the years, he has provided us with remarkable entertainment. While many can make films, not everyone possesses the creative vision and dedication that Ravie bhaiya has. Both he and Sargun have mastered the art of captivating their audience,” Ayesha concluded.
