Mumbai, Sep 26 (NationPress) In a thrilling addition to the anticipation surrounding the horror comedy, “Thama”, featuring Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna, the film's creators have released an engaging trailer. The video begins with Rashmika showcasing Nawazuddin Siddiqui's character, Yakshasan, who is meant to protect the world but has turned against it, seeking to become the ‘Thama’ himself.
Following this, we witness Alok (played by Ayushmann) encountering Yakshasan and stepping into an entirely new reality.
Romantic moments are interspersed between Ayushmann and Rashmika, enhancing the film's emotional depth.
Suddenly, Alok experiences a transformation into a vampire, marked by a lack of a heartbeat and the emergence of fangs. The trailer then highlights Alok's journey as he comes to terms with the trials of his new identity.
Sharing the trailer on social media, the producers, Maddock Films, announced, “A forgotten legend from our folklore, #Thamma, takes centre stage this Diwali (Bat emoji). Maddock Horror Comedy Universe brings you a bloody love story, produced by Dinesh Vijan & Amar Kaushik and directed by Aditya Sarpotdar. In cinemas worldwide on October 21. Trailer Out Now. Regarding his upcoming project, he stated, “The intriguing notion of it being a ‘bloody’ love story presents a uniquely compelling angle for modern audiences seeking fresh theatrical experiences. ‘Thama’ is a wildcard project, offering a film unlike any seen in India. I am eager to dive into this film and create an unforgettable big-screen experience with Dinesh and his visionary team, including Amar Kaushik, my director Aditya Sarpotdar, and the talented writer Niren Bhatt.”
