Mumbai, Oct 24 (NationPress) Actor Ayushmann Khurrana shared an emotional revelation about how the esteemed actor Paresh Rawal brings back memories of his late father.

In a recent Instagram post, the star of 'Bala' disclosed that his father often used to say the phrase “Ayushman Bhav” whenever Ayushmann would touch his feet. Witnessing Paresh Rawal utter this line in the film “Thamma” made Ayushmann feel as if his father, acting as a guardian angel, was bestowing blessings upon him once more. On Friday, he posted photos on Instagram alongside a heartfelt message celebrating the triumph of his newest film, “Thamma.”

The actor from ‘Badhaai Ho’ expressed, “This family has endured a lot over the past few years. The success of Thamma is akin to a beautiful divine light, resulting from the collective prayers of both the young and old present here. Ayushman Bhav... that was my father’s phrase whenever I touched his feet. When Paresh ji said Ayushman Bhav in the film, it felt like my father, my guardian angel, was blessing me again.”

“My family, my late father, and the audience have showered Thamma with love. Don’t be surprised if you see an emotional me in one of the theatres in the suburbs. I might drop by to say hi and thank you,” he added.

Ayushmann Khurrana's father, renowned astrologer Pandit P. Khurana, passed away on May 19, 2023.

The first image features Ayushmann performing a pooja with his family members, while the next slide shows Paresh Rawal blessing him by placing his hand on Ayushmann’s head. He also shared a touching video from a cinema hall, showcasing himself interacting and taking photos with audience members.

“Thamma,” directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, is the fifth installment in the Maddock Horror Comedy Universe. The film stars Ayushmann Khurrana, Rashmika Mandanna, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, and Paresh Rawal. This horror-comedy was released in theatres on October 21, 2025.
