Mumbai, March 13 (NationPress) Babil Khan, son of the late actor Irrfan Khan, recently took to social media to share a thought-provoking post about the essence of 'loneliness'.
On Thursday, he posted a collection of snapshots from a vacation on his Instagram account. In conjunction with the images, Babil expressed his introspective thoughts in a poetic manner.
He wrote, “Throwback the photo dump: I don’t know, are you listening closely? To people, I mean. Someone close once told me - The people that need you the most will never ask for your help. You call it a gut feeling; I call it the frightened child within ourselves. I love wearing chappals and also my Audemars; I enjoy budget backpacking as much as first class. I adore the mountains but still yearn for the sea.”
Babil continued, “I’d go to war for the team yet pray for peace. The line between curiosity and judgment is tranquility. I dislike it when people commend me for my humility. I’m not humble, just human. A dimming, shining lumen. I love my rickshaw and I cherish a Benz. I excel at social gatherings but struggle to maintain friendships. I’m loyal yet feeling lonely; I desire solitude yet wish for someone to hold me. If I don’t even know myself, how can you claim to understand me? What I’m really asking is, are you listening closely?”
The post went on, “Would you prefer to freeze a river or a soul, a spirit until the warmth within is nothing but dark, shivering and cold? Would you rather bind perception to a frame or let the rain cleanse your eyes and observe transformation? We fail, we fall, we win, we grow. @nikhilkamathcio’s t-shirt said 'authenticity is transient,' and then my mind was like 'open notes,' leading me to express these thoughts.”
On the professional front, Babil is set to appear in the forthcoming Indian-American short film 'Yakshi' alongside the renowned Malayalam actress Anna Ben. The film is written and directed by Karan Sunil.
Moreover, Babil Khan will also star in an upcoming love story helmed by National Award-winning director Sai Rajesh. This eagerly awaited film will mark the Bollywood debut of Govinda’s son, Yashvardhan Ahuja.
