'Over the years, I've realised there's honestly no better way for me to spend my birthday than working. Being on set, surrounded by people who are all coming together to create something meaningful, feels incredibly special,' Babil said.

Babil is currently in Mumbai for the second schedule of an as-yet-untitled drama. The project's primary schedule was filmed in Bhopal, with shooting having commenced in March 2025. Notably, the actor has undergone rigorous training in Muay Thai — the combat sport originating in Thailand — and has also taken classes in MMA to prepare for the role.

Babil's journey into cinema began behind the lens, not in front of it. He started out as a camera assistant on his father Irrfan Khan's film 'Qarib Qarib Single' before stepping into acting.
