Ben Schwartz Discusses 'Sonic the Hedgehog 3': A Colorful Take on the Avengers

Mumbai, Dec 20 (NationPress) Ben Schwartz, the voice actor for Sonic the Hedgehog, has discussed the dynamics of Team Sonic and their unique capabilities. He noted that it resembles the 'Avengers', but perhaps in a more vibrant way.
Schwartz elaborated on the composition of Team Sonic, saying, “Team Sonic comprises Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles. Sonic is known for his speed and charisma, Tails showcases intelligence and flight, while Knuckles provides strength.”
He emphasized their bond as best friends, which Schwartz mentioned is a “significant aspect.”
“They harness their diverse skills to come together as a formidable force to overcome challenges. Think of it as a version of the Avengers, but with a more vivid palette,” he added.
When asked about which Avengers characters he thinks each Team Sonic member resembles, Schwartz replied: “Knuckles would parallel Hulk. Tails would be akin to Iron Man due to his inventive nature, similar to Tony Stark.”
He continued: “Given Sonic's youthful energy and fantastic attitude, he embodies Spider-Man.”
The trio faces a daunting new foe, Shadow, a mysterious antagonist with unmatched powers. With their skills challenged on all fronts, Team Sonic must forge an unexpected alliance to thwart Shadow and safeguard the world.
The much-anticipated Sonic The Hedgehog film is scheduled for release on January 3, 2025, available in 2D and 4Dx.
Schwartz is also recognized for his role as Jean-Ralphio Saperstein in the series Parks and Recreation, and for his voice work as Randy Cunningham in Randy Cunningham: 9th Grade Ninja, Dewey Duck in DuckTales, and Leonardo in Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
His film repertoire includes notable performances in Peep World, Everybody's Fine, The Other Guys, Transformers: Age of Extinction, The Walk, This Is Where I Leave You, Standing Up, Falling Down, and Flora & Ulysses.
