Mumbai Jan 21 (NationPress) In a surprising revelation, Bhavana Pandey, mother of Bollywood actress Ananya Panday, disclosed that her husband, actor Chunky Panday, has never presented her with a single gift throughout their 28 years of marriage. During the special Shadi Week of MasterChef India, the couple shared light-hearted moments on the show, where Bhavana humorously pointed out her husband's lack of gift-giving, which brought laughter to the audience.

While chatting with the show's judges, Bhavana playfully accused Chunky of only ever promising to get her a gift but never following through. She said, “Shadi ko 28 years honewale hai aur har saal Chunky bolte hai ki main tumhare liye kuch bohot badhiya Anniversary ka gift launga, aaj tak nahi hua.”

In response, Chunky defended himself by stating, “Aaj jaha leke aaya hoon, I have brought you to the world's biggest cook show, Jaha aapko hindustan ka har kone ka Khana milta hai, har plate mein hindustan ka naam aur bill bhi nahi bharna pade.”

This playful banter added a delightful touch to the segment, which also included a blind guessing challenge for the couples, where they had to identify ingredients without seeing them. Chef Ranveer Brar praised the contestants, noting, “Masterchef India ne duniya bhar ke masterchefs keliye benchmark set kardiya hai ki yeh naya bharat hai.”

Chunky and Bhavana, who tied the knot on January 17, 1998, are proud parents to two daughters, Ananya Panday and Rysa Panday. Chunky often expresses his gratitude for Bhavana's unwavering support during his challenging times in the film industry.
