Mumbai, July 1 (NationPress) Actress Bhumi Pednekar has lauded the initiatives by UNDP India aimed at empowering the youth in promoting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). She described this initiative as a crucial move towards fostering a more inclusive and sustainable future.
As the National Advocate for the SDGs with UNDP India, Pednekar stated, “This initiative represents a transformative moment. The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) India is collaborating with Collective Artists Network India Pvt. Ltd. to enhance youth engagement in realizing the SDGs. This partnership seeks to ignite impactful discussions on pressing global challenges such as climate change, gender equality, poverty, and inclusive development.
Discussing the collaboration, Dr. Angela Lusigi, Resident Representative at UNDP India, commented, “This collaboration marks progress in empowering young individuals to emerge as proactive change-makers.
