Los Angeles, May 22 (NationPress) Actor Bob Odenkirk, renowned for his roles in ‘Breaking Bad’ and ‘Better Call Saul’, boasts nearly four decades of experience in Hollywood.
While his career has primarily featured screen performances, this year, the 62-year-old actor ventured into new territory: Broadway, as reported by ‘People’ magazine.
The ‘Better Call Saul’ star made his stage debut this season in the latest revival of David Mamet's Pulitzer Prize-winning play, ‘Glengarry Glen Ross’, currently running at The Palace Theatre in New York City.
According to ‘People’, the move was risky but fruitful. On May 1, Odenkirk received a Tony Award nomination for Best Performance by a Featured Actor in a Play.
He described his Broadway experience, stating, "It's kind of like jumping off a cliff without a parachute." He added, "It was a significant risk, and perhaps I didn't fully grasp that when I embarked on it. Like, 'Wait a second? Let’s see if that parachute’s on my back.'"
