Mumbai, Nov 28 (NationPress) The creators of the highly anticipated film 'Vanvaas' have unveiled the touching song 'Bandhan.'
In a post on their Instagram account, the team expressed, 'A harmony of hearts, a connection through music #Bandhan SONG OUT NOW!' This soulful melody beautifully portrays the chemistry between the main actors. Utkarsh Sharma and Simrat Kaur share sweet romantic moments, while Nana Patekar brings an old-world charm as he serenades his on-screen spouse.
The song features the vocals of Vishal Mishra, Palak Muchhal, and Mithoon. Mithoon also composed the track, with lyrics crafted by Sayeed Quadri.
The teaser for 'Vanvaas' was revealed on October 29, hinting at a compelling narrative focused on family, honor, and sacrifice. It opened with clips from director Anil Sharma's previous works like 'Apne,' 'Gadar: Ek Prem Katha,' and 'Gadar 2,' establishing the emotional depth of the story.
Discussing the film, Anil conveyed to IANS, 'It is a narrative that emphasizes that a father is paramount. This film will resonate with everyone, and every father will encourage their sons to watch it. 'Vanvaas' is also an emotional expedition, where I express, 'apne hi dete hai apno ko vanvaas.' I aim to reveal a fundamental truth that is very pertinent today.'
He further elaborated, 'After 'Gadar', Nana Patekar reached out to me as I was about to commence shooting and remarked, ‘Anil, I assumed you would be directing a large action film given the success of 'Gadar'.' I replied, ‘Nana sir, I am creating an emotional 'Gadar.' This is, in essence, a 'Gadar.' I am crafting a film that is very dear to me. I don't follow trends; I make films based on my feelings.'
'Vanvaas,' which is produced, directed, and scripted by Anil Sharma, is scheduled for a global release on December 20.
