Mumbai, Nov 25 (NationPress) Bollywood star Celina Jaitly has opened up about the profound loneliness she experienced after initiating a domestic violence case against her husband, Peter Haag.
In a heartfelt post on her Instagram, Celina wrote, "#courage #divorce | In the midst of the most intense storm of my life, I never expected to fight alone, devoid of parental support, without any safety net. I never thought a day would come when the foundations of my world would crumble: my parents, my brother, my children, and the one who vowed to love and support me through thick and thin (sic)."
She recounted how her solitary battle led her to discover a stronger version of herself: "Life stripped everything away... Those I once trusted departed... Promises I held dear shattered in silence... Yet, the storm did not consume me; it liberated me... It threw me from tumultuous waters onto the warm sands... It compelled me to meet the woman inside me who refuses to succumb."
Recently, Celina also approached a court in Delhi for help regarding her brother, Major (retired) Vikrant Jaitly, alleging he was "unlawfully abducted and detained" in the United Arab Emirates.
"My focus remains on advocating for my soldier brother, securing my children’s affection, and upholding my dignity. A domestic violence complaint has been lodged against the wrongs and abandonment I’ve faced," Celina expressed.
"Here’s to the year that will not shatter me... Here’s to the year I rise above the storm... Here’s to the year I reclaim all that was taken from me," she concluded her post.
Celina married the Austrian entrepreneur and hotelier on August 23, 2011, in a civil ceremony.
In March 2012, the couple welcomed their first twins, Winston and Viraaj. Five years later, in 2017, they joyfully became parents to another pair of twins, Shamsher and Arthur. Tragically, they lost their newborn twin, Shamsher, that same year.
