In a message shared on her official X account, CM Gupta expressed her admiration for the film that commemorates the inspiring leadership of Major Shaitan Singh Bhati, portrayed by Akhtar. She wrote, "#120Bahadur is a historical war film that honors the remarkable bravery, leadership, and sacrifice of the 120 soldiers of Charlie Company, 13 Kumaon Regiment, who valiantly fought in the Battle of Rezang La during the 1962 Sino-Indian War. The film showcases the outstanding leadership of Major Shaitan Singh Bhati, whose sacrifice stands as a defining symbol of courage in India’s military narrative. (sic)."

This tax exemption is anticipated to significantly increase attendance, encouraging audiences of all ages to experience the heroic retelling of the Battle of Rezang La on the big screen.
Farhan Akhtar's performance as Major Shaitan Singh Bhati has garnered widespread acclaim.
Veteran actress Shabana Azmi praised Akhtar's portrayal in ‘120 Bahadur’, expressing disbelief that the actor playing Shaitan Singh is the same individual who once portrayed Imran in ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’.
She remarked, "I am so proud of you @faroutakhtar. I adored #120Bahadur, and your performance is genuine, heartfelt, and nuanced. It’s hard to believe that the actor who plays #Shaitan Singh is the same one who played Imran in Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara. Congratulations to you and #RiteshSidhwani and the entire team (sic)."
Directed by Razneesh ‘Razy’ Ghai and produced by Ritesh Sidhwani, Farhan Akhtar, and Amit Chandrra, ‘120 Bahadur’ was released in theaters on November 21.
