Chennai, Jan 9 (NationPress) On Thursday, Dhanush, the esteemed actor, director, and producer, unveiled the eagerly anticipated Tamil teaser for 'Kingston', starring National Award-winning music director and actor G V Prakash Kumar in the leading role.

Chennai, Jan 9 (NationPress) Actor, director, and producer Dhanush unveiled the highly anticipated Tamil teaser for 'Kingston' on Thursday, showcasing National Award-winning music director and actor G V Prakash Kumar as the main character.

This teaser has generated significant excitement among movie enthusiasts as it marks India’s first-ever sea horror adventure film. The clip opens with a news anchor reporting that communication with a search party seeking missing fishermen from Thoovathur has been lost. The narrative reveals a chilling fact: anyone who has ventured into the sea has never returned.

The teaser hints that G V Prakash Kumar, portraying Kingston, sets sail into this perilous sea, while one of his fellow crew members tries to caution him about the dangers that await...

The film's crew also confirmed that Kingston will premiere globally on March 7, with screenings in three languages: Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi.

While Dhanush presented the Tamil teaser, Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut debuted the Hindi teaser, and leading Telugu star Nagarjuna introduced the Telugu teaser.

Directed by Kamal Prakash, Kingston is being produced on a substantial budget by Zee Studios and G V Prakash's own production house, Parallel Universe Pictures.

The film boasts a stellar cast, including G. V. Prakash Kumar, Divya Bharathi, Azhagam Perumal, 'Merku Thodarchi Malai' fame Anthony, Chetan, Kumaravel, and Sabumon, among others.

In addition to his role as the lead, G V Prakash is also the music composer for this project, which features cinematography by Gokul Benoy. The dialogues are penned by Dhivek, while editing is managed by San Lokesh. S S Moorthy oversees art direction, and Dhilip Subbarayan is responsible for the film's stunt choreography.
