Key Takeaways
Mumbai, March 18 (NationPress) As cinephiles nationwide eagerly await the debut of "Dhurandhar: The Revenge", the production team has revealed via a recent social media update that the Malayalam and Kannada screenings of this highly anticipated film have been postponed due to unexpected technical challenges.
Director Aditya Dhar communicated through his official social media account, indicating that while the Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu versions will launch as planned, the Malayalam and Kannada adaptations are now set to start on Thursday because of some technical setbacks.
In his message, he stated, "To our cherished Dhurandhar family, this film is not merely a project for us; it represents something we have cherished, cultivated, and dreamed of sharing with each of you at the same time in every language. Most of our Hindi screenings across India are proceeding as scheduled from 5 PM onwards, and all our Tamil and Telugu versions will begin at 9 PM. However, due to unforeseen technical difficulties, our Malayalam and Kannada screenings will commence tomorrow morning."
The producers also informed ticket holders affected by the delays that they could opt for a refund or experience the Hindi version of "Dhurandhar: The Revenge" with subtitles.
They added, "If the dubbed version you purchased tickets for is not currently showing at your cinema, you will have the option for a refund or to view the Hindi version with subtitles instead. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused. Your support for this film is invaluable to us, and we eagerly look forward to sharing it with you."
Earlier today, Dhar urged viewers to avoid sharing spoilers after watching the film.
He expressed, "Here is my heartfelt request: Please do not share spoilers! Let every fan enter without knowledge but with curiosity and exit with their own unique interpretation of the experience."
