Sabdham, featuring Aadhi and Lakshmi Menon in leading roles, was initially set to debut on February 28. Although the film was released in other languages as planned, it encountered issues in Tamil Nadu. Fans and cinema enthusiasts who attempted to watch the film on its first day were left disheartened.
However, both director Arivazhagan and actor Aadhi took to social media to express their apologies for the delay and to confirm that the film will be accessible to all viewers starting from March 1.
In a video shared by actor Aadhi on his social media timeline, director Arivazhagan stated, “You must have been looking forward to watching Sabdham on its opening day. We sincerely apologize for the fact that you could not view the film as planned. In the film industry, unforeseen circumstances can lead to delays in a film's release. Sabdham will be available today after overcoming all obstacles.”
Aadhi, present in the video, added, "Starting today, March 1st, Sabdham will be screening in all theatres. We apologize for the delay. As sir (Arivazhagan) mentioned, there were several reasons for this. It's currently 2:30 in the morning, and we have successfully cleared all impediments to bring Sabdham to you. We have received positive reviews and feedback from audiences in other languages, and now we eagerly await the response from our Tamil audience regarding our film.”
