Chennai, Feb 27 (NationPress) Director Arivazhagan, known for his horror thriller ‘Sabdham’ featuring actors Aadhi and Lakshmi Menon in prominent roles, is gearing up for the film's release on Friday. He has reached out to all theatre owners, requesting them to set the audio levels between 6 and 6.5 based on the size and sound system of their theatres.
In a post on his X timeline, Arivazhagan shared a copy of the letter addressed to theatre owners. In the letter, he stated, “As you know, the film Sabdham, produced by 7G Films and directed by me, is set to premiere on February 28.”
“Sabdham is a supernatural thriller centered around the concept of sound. The music and sound design have been crafted with precision to provide an immersive experience for viewers,” he emphasized, adding, “To achieve this, the film's audio has been optimized for DOLBY ATMOS, 5.1, and 7.1 formats, tailored to fit various theatre setups.”
“A genuine cinematic experience can only be achieved on the big screen with superior sound and visual quality that will leave a lasting impression on the audience. Sabdham is a film that deserves to be experienced in such an environment,” Arivazhagan remarked.
“Therefore, we kindly ask you to check and calibrate the speaker systems and audio settings before showing the film. To maintain the intended impact of Sabdham, we suggest setting the audio levels to 6 to 6.5, depending on your theatre's size and sound system configuration. We sincerely appreciate your cooperation in helping audiences experience Sabdham in its full glory,” he explained.
While Arivazhagan’s previous film ‘Eeram’ used water as a medium for spirits, Sabdham utilizes sound in a similar role.
The film, which has already garnered attention with its classy teaser, is set to hit the screens on February 28 this year.
Aadhi portrays a paranormal investigator, while Lakshmi Menon takes on the role of a first-year resident doctor.
In addition to Aadhi and Lakshmi Menon, the cast includes Simran, Laila, Redin Kingsley, MS Baskar, and acclaimed director Rajiv Menon in key roles.
