Mumbai, Aug 2 (NationPress) After more than 30 years in the industry, Divya Dutta is stepping into the Telugu entertainment arena with the upcoming series “Mayasabha: The Rise of the Titans”. The accomplished actress expressed that she often feels like a “newcomer” on each set.
When asked if “Mayasabha: The Rise of the Titans” feels like a fresh start, Divya shared with IANS: “Definitely. I enjoy these unconventional experiences in my career. It's refreshing to make a debut after three decades, especially with Maya Sabha.”
“Indeed, I feel like a newcomer on every set, even if I don't admit it, but this project feels particularly new for me since it opens up a world I've always been eager to explore. I definitely felt those butterflies in my stomach,” she continued.
Was it challenging to adjust to a new language and industry at this juncture in her career, or did she find it creatively freeing?
The actress replied: “You must always step outside your comfort zone. You have to dive into unfamiliar territory and uncover new experiences that you might not be aware of.”
“That’s how you learn. You should always be a student. So yes, this is just the next step in my journey,” she stated.
“Mayasabha: The Rise of the Titans” is a political drama web series directed by Deva Katta and Kiran Jay Kumar. It features Aadhi Pinisetty and Chaitanya Rao in lead roles, alongside Divya, Sai Kumar, Srikanth Iyengar, and Nassar.
