On another note, Ektaa Kapoor recently made headlines after criticizing prominent television actor Ram Kapoor. She took to the stories feature of her Instagram account to share a cryptic message that read, "Unprofessional actors giving interviews about my shows should remain silent! Inaccurate information and distorted narratives can only persist until I speak up... but there is dignity in silence.” Although she did not name anyone directly, it was evident who her remarks were directed towards.

Ektaa Kapoor's recent statement came in response to Ram Kapoor's comments about a kissing scene on the show "Bade Achhe Lagte Hain". Ram Kapoor mentioned that he had inquired with Ektaa Kapoor if she was certain about the scene involving him and Sakshi Tanwar, to which the producer stood her ground.

During a recent media interaction, Ram Kapoor was quoted saying, "Ektaa is the one who crafted the scene and insisted we perform it... I told Ektaa, ‘Are you sure? This has never happened on television before; it was the first kiss on the medium, which is significant. Three generations watch (the show) together... but Ekta was very confident that we should proceed. I said, alright, I’ll first consult my wife. Then I informed Sakshi that I would manage Ekta.
