Mumbai, April 16 (NationPress) Actor Emraan Hashmi has expressed his views on the positive transformations occurring in Srinagar after the annulment of Article 370.
In a candid discussion about his filming experiences in the area, Hashmi pointed out the improved safety and expanding prospects for cinema in the city. With the removal of restrictions, he noted that filmmakers are increasingly willing to shoot there, thanks to enhanced security and a gradual return to normalcy. The actor also mentioned a significant milestone—the initial screening of his film 'Ground Zero' for BSF soldiers, which symbolizes a move towards rekindling a sense of connection and stability in the area.
Emraan stated to IANS, 'People are not living in fear anymore. The rate of incidents has significantly decreased, and conditions have notably improved.' While engaging with the BSF soldiers stationed there, he remarked on the increased safety measures that have been implemented. 'During the filming of Ground Zero, we sensed a growing normalcy in the region, and there was considerable tourist interest.'
