Mumbai, March 24 (NationPress) On his 46th birthday celebrated on Monday, actor Emraan Hashmi delighted his fans by announcing the much-anticipated sequel to “Awarapan”, which is confirmed for release on April 3, 2026.

The sequel serves as a tribute to all the fans who cherished and celebrated Awarapan and pays homage to the unwavering dedication of Shivam, the character portrayed by Emraan in the original film.

Returning to collaborate with Vishesh Films, the movie is set for a theatrical release, directed by Nitin Kakkar, with a script by Bilal Siddiqui and produced by Vishesh Bhatt. Promising to deliver an intense action drama, Awarapan 2 continues the journey of Shivam, reviving the grit, emotions, iconic moments, and blockbuster music that solidified Awarapan as a cult classic.
