Mumbai, May 14 (NationPress) Directors Adam Stein and Zach Lipovsky of Final Destination: Bloodlines have shared their enthusiasm about becoming a part of this iconic franchise, which first emerged in 2000.
Lipovsky expressed that the most exhilarating aspect of creating a Final Destination film is simply the fact that it is a Final Destination film.
He elaborated: “Being part of this franchise, with its rich history that has influenced culture for the past 25 years, is incredible. When unexpected events occur in life, people often say, ‘That was a Final Destination moment.’ It’s ingrained in the culture of movie enthusiasts.
“Joining this universe and exploring its potential as a filmmaker is incredibly thrilling. We strive to honor the legacy while also pushing boundaries into new territories—this presents an exhilarating challenge.”
Stein noted that one of the most thrilling aspects of producing Final Destination: Bloodlines was the extensive use of practical effects and stunts.
“Our team, along with the producers and studio, were eager to execute as many scenes practically—right before our eyes—as possible. We constructed a massive restaurant... and then we blew it up,” Stein remarked.
Lipovsky chimed in: “We built a cabin in the woods, and then we blew it up.”
The directors humorously noted that they “blew up a lot of stuff.”
“For filmmakers, it’s a delight to have such opportunities. The team we collaborated with was top-notch, creating the most extraordinary stunts and effects imaginable to truly bring the grand vision of this film to life,” Stein added.
Set for global distribution by Warner Bros. Pictures, the film is slated for release in India on May 15.
