New Delhi, April 18 (NationPress) Renowned television actor Fahmaan Khan asserts that male characters on Indian television exhibit a greater sense of humanity.

When asked whether he feels that male characters in Indian television have been portrayed with more depth recently, Fahmaan replied to IANS: “Absolutely, I believe there is a more human touch to male characters.”

“From my personal experience, the character I portrayed recently, Ranbir Singh Bajwa, was deeply human, and the roles I've taken on previously also reflected a profound humanity. They encapsulated a wealth of emotions, depth, and authenticity in the characters' journeys. This connection resonates more with the audience.”

The actor acknowledges that this trend should be amplified.

“Indeed, this has been occurring more frequently, and I think it should continue to evolve. Both male and female characters deserve to be depicted with equal depth so that the audience can relate to them just as much.”

Fahmaan started his career as a model, making his television debut with a cameo in Yeh Vaada Raha in 2015, followed by another cameo in Kundali Bhagya in 2018.

He secured recurring roles in Kya Qusoor Hai Amala Ka, Ishq Mein Marjawan, and Mere Dad Ki Dulhan from 2017 to 2020. His fame skyrocketed with leading roles in shows like Apna Time Bhi Aayega, Imlie, Pyar Ke Saat Vachan Dharampatnii, Krishna Mohini, and Iss Ishq Ka Rabb Rakha.

Discussing his latest show “Iss Ishq Ka Rabb Rakha”, it centers around Ranbir, a proud Sikh, who falls for the Bengali beauty Meghla. Tensions arise when their culturally distinct families clash.
