Mumbai, Sep 2 (NationPress) In a remarkable first, devotees are not making their way to Ganpati Bappa; instead, he is journeying throughout the city on a specially designed open double-decker bus to extend his blessings to all. During this unique trip, ‘Mumbai Cha Seth’ made an unexpected stop at the renowned Gokuldham society featured in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, much to the astonishment of the cast and crew.
Overjoyed after the darshan, creator Asit Kumarr Modi exclusively shared with IANS, "We felt incredibly special as Ganpati Bappa visited our Gokuldham society, continuously bestowing his blessings across Mumbai; he is truly a moving Ganpati. He is the Seth (Capitalist magnate) of Mumbai - the Setho ke Seth. We felt genuinely blessed to perform his arti."
Actor Dilip Joshi, known for his role as Jethalal on the show, remarked, "While we usually visit the Seth, this time he came here to bless us with his darshan."
Asit added, "He has arrived for those devoted to Bappa but unable to visit him in person."
Tanuj Mahashabde, portraying Iyer, also commended this innovative concept, especially considering Mumbai's notorious traffic issues. "I have never seen such a concept before; it should be implemented everywhere, particularly in Mumbai during Ganapati celebrations," he said.
He also expressed his gratitude to the Mumbai police for their adept management of such a grand festival. "We appreciate the Mumbai police for making this festival run so smoothly. I believe this concept should be adopted in various places, every time."
When asked by IANS if Ganpati Bappa had resolved any personal issues for him, Dilip humorously replied, "How can we discuss our personal problems live on television? We've shared our issues with Bappa in the ear of his mousal (his vahan)."
Asit cheekily added, "Daya Bhabhi should arrive soon; we’ve already shared that problem with Bappa."
