Los Angeles, December 7 (NationPress) The ‘Stranger Things’ actor Gaten Matarazzo recently discussed his close relationships with his fellow cast members from the acclaimed series.

In an interview, he revealed who he regularly communicates with from the ensemble, according to a report by ‘People’ magazine.

He stated, “I’m constantly texting Finny (Finn Wolfhard) and Caleb (McLaughlin) a lot. They keep me updated frequently. They enjoy sharing memes and having a good laugh. Voice memos are a regular thing for us too.”

As highlighted by ‘People’, Gaten and his co-stars have been part of the show since its inception in 2015, and he even shared a living space with Wolfhard, who is 22 years old. During his appearance on Jesse Tyler Ferguson's Dinner’s on Me podcast, Matarazzo shared insights about their time as roommates while filming ‘Stranger Things’ season 5.

He mentioned, “It was amazing. It felt like a college experience.” True to college life, he admitted that maintaining cleanliness in their apartment was a challenge.

“I would look around months after moving in and think, ‘This place is a mess. What are we doing?’” he expressed.

When queried by Ferguson about who was the messier roommate, he responded, “We both matched each other’s energy a bit.”

He added that they’ve been friends for so long that they didn’t hold each other to a specific standard. “We were like, ‘Oh, whatever, man. We’ll get to it later,’” he explained.

The final season of ‘Stranger Things’ debuted on November 26 on Netflix. Gaten also shared his thoughts on the experience of reading the finale script.

He remarked, “That was back in December 2023. It was unreal and everyone was thrilled about it. It was a wonderful experience.”

“We read it in segments, starting with the first few episodes, and then gradually added the rest later,” he added.
