Genelia took to her Instagram account to share a humorous reel featuring both herself and Riteish. In her caption, she mentioned, 'Christmas ki Chai @riteishd.' The amusing video showcases Genelia asking her husband, 'Baby, I made this tea with a lot of love. Tell me, how is it?' After tasting it, Riteish makes a comical expression, but when Genelia playfully taps him, his demeanor shifts completely, leaving fans in stitches.
The couple, who exchanged vows on February 3, 2012, consistently set major relationship goals on social media. Just a few days ago, the 'Masti' actor celebrated his 46th birthday surrounded by family.
Genelia posted a heartfelt message wishing her husband a happy birthday, sharing affectionate photos from the celebration and writing, 'If you are looking for the Best Son, Best Father, Best Brother, Best Husband- He's Taken. For those who may not know, the couple first met on the set of their debut film, 'Tujhe Meri Kasam.' Initially, Genelia perceived Riteish as somewhat arrogant, particularly because he was the son of the late Shri Vilasrao Deshmukh, the former Chief Minister of Maharashtra.
Conversely, Riteish was taken aback by Genelia's distinctive personality during their first meeting. However, as they spent more time together, Genelia realized her initial impressions were misguided.
Their relationship deepened, and their on-screen chemistry in the film received widespread acclaim. What began as a friendship eventually blossomed into love, culminating in their marriage after nine years of dating on February 3, 2012.
The couple welcomed their first child, a son named Riaan, on November 25, 2014. Their second son, Rahyl, was born on June 1, 2016.
