Los Angeles, April 26 (NationPress) Hollywood icon Jeff Goldblum shared that he consumed only carrots for a week as part of his exploration of various diets, leading him to "turn orange".

During an appearance on the 'Off Menu' podcast with comedians Ed Gamble and James Acaster, he stated: "I've tried many different diets and routines over the years. A while back, I carried large bags of carrots with me.

"I had a machine while traveling, and I only ate carrots for a week, and I turned orange, and everything that came out of me was orange."

Chuckling, Gamble asked: "Did it really make you orange?"

The 'Jurassic Park' actor confirmed: "Yes, indeed. But I've gone through numerous variations since then."

Goldblum mentioned that he continues to explore different diets to find what best fuels his body and provides him with energy, according to reports from femalefirst.co.uk.

The 'Wicked' star expressed: "I'm still on a journey to discover what works best for me, for energy and other aspects. I've become quite adventurous.

"I believe I've tried everything at this point. But these days, I'm very easy to please; I enjoy food."

He also shared that he and his wife Emilie Livingston have two children, Charlie and River, who are quite skilled in the kitchen.

Goldblum noted: "I adore the boys. They prepare things for me. They're already very proficient in the kitchen.

"(Charlie) is particularly helpful. He makes me a cup of coffee daily. We have this wonderful machine, and he knows how to operate it. He's very capable—better than I am. When he's not around, I find it hard to use it myself and don’t make coffee."

As River played with his kitchen playset, he enjoyed watching his parents cook and began "coming over and serving".

Goldblum remarked: "We had a pretend kitchen, not unlike what I had when I was a kid. What was that called? The easy-bake oven? He had some wooden blocks shaped like a half-boiled egg and fruit.

"He liked seeing us in our kitchen, playing with pretend pots and pans, and coming over to serve us. He’s always been generous and enjoys making things for us. He still does."
