Mumbai, April 16 (NationPress) The creators of “Good Omens” have released the official trailer for the concluding episode of this enchanting comedy series.
This upcoming 90-minute finale from Amazon MGM Studios, Narrativia, and BBC Studios Comedy is set to debut on May 13 on Prime Video.
Good Omens 3 continues the saga from where Season Two left off, reuniting the cherished and unexpected pair, angel Aziraphale and demon Crowley, as they embark on their most significant and intimate journey to date.
Their longstanding friendship has been put to the test since Aziraphale accepted the chance to rejoin Heaven, leaving Crowley behind. Now, as the newly appointed Supreme Archangel, Aziraphale bears the weighty duty of overseeing the Second Coming, a task that adds immense pressure, especially as his decisions create friction among the other angels.
Meanwhile, a heartbroken Crowley finds himself lost, meandering through the streets of Soho.
With the universe's fate precariously hanging in the balance, Aziraphale and Crowley must confront their relationship, mend old wounds, and rediscover their connection. From navigating London’s underworld to countering demonic threats, they will face personal betrayals and the intricate maze of their emotions in this timeless adventure.
Good Omens 3 features Michael Sheen and David Tennant reprising their roles as Aziraphale and Crowley, respectively.
Doon Mackichan as Michael, Gloria Obianyo as Uriel, Liz Carr as Saraqael, Paul Chahidi as Sandalphon, Quelin Sepulveda as Muriel, and Sir Derek Jacobi as The Metatron will also return. Additionally, Bilal Hasna joins the ensemble as Jesus.
Rob Wilkins of Narrativia, who represents Terry Pratchett’s estate, and Josh Cole, Chief Creative Officer at BBC Studios Comedy, are among the executive producers for this finale, with Rachel Talalay directing. Producers include Sarah-Kate Fenelon and Chris Newman.
Good Omens was created by Neil Gaiman, based on his and Terry Pratchett's acclaimed 1990 novel. The series explores various Christian themes and characters, depicting their attempts to either hasten or avert an impending Armageddon, all seen through the perspectives of the angel Aziraphale and the demon Crowley.
