Mumbai, Sep 10 (NationPress) Social media’s beloved personality Sunita Ahuja has revealed that her husband, the actor Govinda, may have flirted with numerous actresses but never attempted to woo Sonali Bendre.
Sunita appeared as a guest on the show ‘Pati Patni Aur Panga – Jodiyon Ka Reality Check’. The playful banter commenced when Govinda’s name was mentioned, with co-host Munawar Faruqui attempting to coax Sunita into a dance.
Sunita humorously responded, “Main teri Biwi No. 1 thodi hu jo tu mere saath dance kar raha hai!”
She cheekily inquired if the show drew inspiration from her and Govinda’s married life.
Reflecting on her time on the show, Sunita Ahuja expressed, “Participating in Pati Patni Aur Panga felt like a delightful stroll down memory lane, overflowing with nostalgia and laughter. I adored dancing to Govinda’s songs once more, sharing the stage with Sonali, and reveling in the vibrant energy of so many wonderful couples.”
She emphasized that spending time with Sonali was particularly meaningful.
“We shared laughs and reminisced about the joyful moments from the past that remain dear to us. I disclosed that while Govinda may have flirted with many, Sonali hi bach gayi bus! She was the sole actress he never tried to charm.”
Sunita, who tied the knot with Govinda in 1987, noted that he provided Sonali with her debut in Hindi cinema through the film “Aag,” released in 1994.
“Indeed, Govinda gave Sonali her first significant break in Aag, and he often remarked that when I was younger, I reminded him of Sonali… It was truly special to revisit those memories, share a few untold stories, and celebrate the Govinda-style entertainment that has always been a substantial part of my life.”
The show is broadcast on Colors.
