Mumbai, April 3 (NationPress) Actor Harshvardhan Rane, known for his acclaimed performance in the film ‘Sanam Teri Kasam’, which recently enjoyed a successful re-release, has proudly introduced his custom-built retro bobber motorcycle.
On Thursday, he shared an unveiling video on Instagram, showcasing his unique single-seater Shotgun 650 from Royal Enfield. This striking bike features a brushed aluminum finish.
The motorcycle's fuel tank, front and rear fenders, and fuel tank are all adorned with a brushed aluminum finish. Additionally, the motorcycle’s head has been upgraded to a machined alloy finish. The original alloy wheels on the Shotgun 650 have been swapped out for wheels from another model, the Goan Classic. Custom machined wheels are fitted both at the front and rear.
Aftermarket disc brakes are also a notable feature of this bike. It appears that the suspension has been modified as part of this custom project. In a charming moment, the actor is seen kissing the bike's rear fender.
In his post, he expressed, “My new family. Gifted by @royalenfield A one-of-a-kind, all-aluminum Shotgun 650. This bespoke build pushes the boundaries of craftsmanship and design. Key custom elements include Handcrafted aluminum fuel tank, Custom aluminum top yoke, Dual-disc front brake conversion, Billet seat with premium leather upholstery, Custom-fabricated swingarm, precision-machined billet wheels, Integrated meters seamlessly housed in the nacelle, Unique custom panels, and sleek billet turn signals. A true masterpiece. This 1-of-1 Shotgun 650 redefines custom engineering with its bold aesthetic and precision craftsmanship.”
Powering the bike is a robust 648 cc air-cooled engine, alongside a 13.8-liter fuel tank. As a bobber and single-seater, it features a compact rear fender and ranks among the heaviest models from Royal Enfield at 240 kgs, just one kilogram lighter than the heaviest RE, the Super Meteor 650. The Shotgun 650 includes a twin pod cowl with a speedometer and tripper navigation to assist riders with directions on their journeys.
Previously, the actor owned a Royal Enfield Intercontinental GT 650, a stunning yellow cafe racer and the third heaviest RE bike. However, he sold his GT 650 during the pandemic to purchase oxygen concentrators for those in need. Beyond motorcycling, he has a profound passion for wildlife photography and often retreats from Mumbai to immerse himself in nature.
