Mumbai, Dec 26 (NationPress) Renowned television actress Hina Khan, who is bravely battling breast cancer, is set to make a significant return to the small screen with “Grihalaxmi.”
In spite of her ongoing struggle, the actress is determined to keep progressing. The forthcoming gripping drama, which focuses on power and survival, features Chunky Pandey, Rahul Dev, and Dibyendu Bhattacharya. The creators of the series have released its teaser.
“Grihalaxmi” presents a captivating narrative of resilience, survival, and personal growth. This intense drama will be available for streaming on EPIC ON.
Back in July, Hina revealed her return to work, marking her first project since her breast cancer diagnosis. In an emotional post, the ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ actress shared, "My first work assignment after my diagnosis. Walking the talk is challenging, especially when facing life's biggest challenges. So, give yourself a break on bad days; it's okay... you deserve it. However, don't forget to live your life on the good days, no matter how few they are. These days still hold importance. Accept the change, embrace the difference, and normalize it."
On June 28, Hina Khan confirmed her diagnosis of stage three breast cancer. She took to her Instagram to share a message that stated, "Hello everyone, To address the recent rumor, I want to share some important news with all the Hinaholics and everyone who loves and cares for me. I have been diagnosed with stage three breast cancer. Despite this challenging diagnosis, I wish to reassure everyone that I am doing well. I am strong, determined, and fully committed to overcoming this disease. My treatment has already begun, and I am ready to do everything necessary to emerge from this even stronger."
On the professional front, Hina has received considerable acclaim for her role in “Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai.” She is also fondly remembered for her negative portrayal as Komolika in “Kasautii Zindagii Kay.” Other notable appearances include the comedy-drama series “Namacool,” directed by Ritam Shrivastava, and “Shinda Shinda No Papa.”
