Mumbai, Sep 27, IANS - Television star Hina Khan showcases her loving nature as a daughter while excelling in her professional life. Currently busy filming for her entertaining couple reality show “Pati Patni Aur Panga”, she recently posted a heartfelt image on social media that demonstrates her mother’s deep affection for her.

In the shared image, a tiffin brimming with delicious food, lovingly prepared by her mother, is visible. On the container, her mother had penned, “Lunch, I love you forever,” serving as a constant reminder of her mother’s unwavering support during any circumstance. This touching note illustrates the profound bond shared by the mother-daughter duo.

Hina has consistently emphasized her closeness to her parents, a connection that has only intensified since her father's passing in April 2021. Last year, when Hina announced her battle with breast cancer, she made the difficult decision to cut off her hair as part of her chemotherapy treatment. In a video shared during that challenging time, her mother was seen visibly distressed as she witnessed her daughter enduring such pain and losing her beautiful locks.

In her post, Hina wrote, “You can hear my mother’s wailing voice in Kashmiri (blessing me) in the background as she prepared herself to witness something she never dared to imagine. Not all of us have the same tools at our disposal to manage heartbreaking emotions. To all the beautiful people out there, especially women fighting the same battle, I know it’s hard. I know for most of us, our hair is a crown we never take off.” She continued, “But what if you’re facing a battle so tough that you have to lose your hair—your pride, your crown? If you want to win, you’ve got to make tough decisions. And I choose to win.” She expressed her determination to embrace every chance to conquer her struggle, stating her decision to cut her hair before it started falling out to avoid a prolonged emotional breakdown.

Hina added, “So, I choose to let go of my crown because I’ve realized my real crown is my COURAGE, my STRENGTH, and the love I have for myself. Aur haan... I have decided to use my own hair to make a nice wig for this phase.” She further noted, “Hair will grow back, eyebrows will return, scars will fade, but the spirit must remain whole. I am documenting my story, my journey, to ensure that my efforts to embrace myself reach everyone out there.” Hina aims to make a difference, stating that if her experience can brighten even one day for someone else, it’s worth it.
