Mumbai Sep 27 (NationPress) Actor-singer Suchitra Krishnamoorthy, known for her role alongside Bollywood icon Shah Rukh Khan in the beloved classic “Kabhi Haan Kabhi Na”, has shared her thoughts on Aryan Khan's directorial debut, “The B***ds of Bollywood”.

Drawing from her extensive experience in the film realm, Krishnamoorthy expressed her understanding of the immense expectations that come with being a star child. In her discussion with IANS, she remarked, “A new generation is stepping into the spotlight, and I sincerely wish them all the best.”

Highlighting the burdens faced by star kids, she stated, “The pressure on kids, especially star kids, is overwhelming. Just as I often mentioned the immense pressure on Abhishek (Bachchan), Aryan too must feel a significant weight on his shoulders. I wish him all the best.” Krishnamoorthy defended star kids against ongoing trolling, asserting that one's birthplace is beyond their control: “What are they supposed to do? Change their parents just because some random individual feels upset and claims their life is miserable? You can't alter where you come from, and it's essential to take pride in that.”

Reflecting on her own journey, she noted, “I hail from a completely different background. I never blamed my parents for not being celebrities. Everyone has their unique gifts, and it's crucial to maximize what you possess rather than resent what others have. This culture of hate is trivial.”

Delving into the nepotism debate, she elaborated that while star kids might enjoy easier access to the industry, their enduring success hinges on their connection with the audience. “The initial phase may be smoother, but ultimately, it’s about your relationship with the audience. Not every superstar's child becomes a superstar. Each person's journey is dictated by their destiny.”

She continued, “You can't contest someone else's beginnings or path; you must carve your own.” On the prevalent networking culture in Bollywood, she dismissed the notion that mingling at lavish parties could define success. “Is Kriti Sanon a star kid? No. Is Disha Patani? There are countless individuals who have succeeded outside of star families. Talent and self-confidence are paramount.”

She added, “Why be an insider? Focus on your craft! Attending parties is unnecessary.” Krishnamoorthy emphasized, “These misconceptions that attending parties might attract filmmakers are absurd! It’s your hard work, effort, and destiny that draw opportunities, not social media fame!”

With strong convictions, the Kabhi Haan Kabhi Na actress asserted that while nepotism may facilitate entry, it is ultimately talent, dedication, and fate that determine an actor’s standing in the industry.
