Mumbai, Feb 22 (NationPress) Social media figure Hindustani Bhau, who lodged a complaint against choreographer-director Farah Khan, has demanded that she issue an apology within two weeks. He clarified that he had previously submitted a police complaint, not an FIR.
Previously, Hindustani Bhau claimed that Farah referred to Holi as the “Festival of Chhapris” during an episode of the cooking reality show ‘Laughter Chefs’.
In a media interaction on Saturday, he expressed, “Today, on a reality show, it was stated that Holi is the festival of Chhapri people. Is that what it is? You? You have worked in the film industry, you are aware of the world, you have participated in reality shows, and you understand Sanatan Dharma. It’s not like you don’t know. How dare you call it Chhapri? From our Prime Minister Modi ji to all the sadhus and saints, and the 100 crore people of India, Holi is celebrated. And you are labeling all these individuals as Chhapri?”
He continued, “You are disrespecting Sanatan Dharma? This behavior is not new for those in Bollywood. Since the inception of Bollywood, they have consistently mocked our Sanatan Dharma, belittling our deities and goddesses. Their films have always depicted our Hindu beliefs in a negative light.”
“They present it in a derogatory manner to the audience. And no one can challenge them because they possess power, wealth, and everything else, which gives them the audacity. But now, Hindustani Bhau is here, and I will not just sit quietly. I will respond legally and in my own manner. I have submitted an application at Khar Police Station, requesting that they be prosecuted promptly and face consequences,” he concluded.
