Mumbai, Aug 1 (NationPress) - Directed by Neeraj Ghaywan, the film ‘Homebound’ featuring Janhvi Kapoor, Ishaan Khatter, and Vishal Jethwa is poised to be the closing film of the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne (IFFM) 2025, following its remarkable debut at the esteemed Cannes Film Festival.
The National Award-winning filmmaker expressed, “Homebound delves into the delicate fabric of friendship, ambition, and the emotional toll of pursuing one's identity. IFFM has consistently celebrated impactful cinema, and I am thrilled that 'Homebound' is included in that tradition as their closing feature.”
This cinematic endeavor is produced by Karan Johar, Adar Poonawalla, Apoorva Mehta, and Somen Mishra, with co-producers Marijke deSouza and Melita Toscan du Plantier, alongside Martin Scorsese as an executive producer.
